Tandym Group awards the 2012 Master’s of Science in Nursing Scholarship Recipient

New York, May, 2012 – Tandym Group is pleased to announce their 2012 Master’s of Science in Nursing Scholarship. In conjunction with the Greater New York Association of Healthcare Recruiters, Tandym has awarded William Rosa of New York, NY with a scholarship of $1,500 to use towards educational expenses.

Currently a student at Hunter College of The City University of New York, Rosa is studying to receive an M.S in Nursing, through the Adult/Gerontological Nurse Practitioner Program. Not only does Rosa have a 4.0 GPA, he is currently working at NYU Langone in the Critical Care Unit delivering care for medical, surgical and cardiovascular ICU patients. Rosa was selected for the scholarship based on his education, work background, personal essay and letter of reference. In addition to his professional and educational credentials, Rosa is a self-motivated, compassionate, hardworking individual with a passion for nursing. “Tandym Group is proud to support the educational advancement of our future nursing leaders. Tandym Group’s Master’s of Science in Nursing Scholarship was created to offer a student enrolled in an accredited Master’s of Science in Nursing program $1,500 to use toward educational expenses. The scholarship was open to Tri-State area residents who are currently enrolled in an accredited Master’s of Science in Nursing program and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
